Our story
Tranquillity Hair was founded in Street in 2009, when 21-year-old Kate seized the opportunity to open her very own salon. After spotting an empty shell of a shop that would become Tranquillity, she spent six weeks renovating the space, pouring her heart into DIY projects and painting to bring her vision to life. Finally, on 20 June 2009, Kate opened the doors and began her journey.
From the very beginning, Kate's commitment to excellent customer service, and her determination for every client to leave looking and feeling fantastic, quickly earned the salon an outstanding reputation.
Over the years, the team has grown beautifully. Kate and the team have focused on nurturing a culture of great customer service and continuous education, transforming novices into passionate, talented stylists, many of whom started with us as apprentices and have grown into the heart of the salon.
Today, staying on trend and investing in our team's education remain at the very core of what we do. Whether you're after colour, a cut, a voluminous blow-dry or an elegant updo for a special occasion, we're here to make sure you receive exceptional service every time.
Our team includes a L'Oréal Colour Specialist trained to degree level, a Balayage Master delivering seamless, luxurious results, and curly hair experts dedicated to redefining your curls. For those special moments, our talented stylists also offer beautiful wedding hair, tailored just for you.
We proudly stock a range of luxury hair brands, including L'Oréal Professionnel, Kérastase and Olaplex, so you leave the salon not only looking amazing, but equipped with the very best products for your hair at home.
